This Cabinet is furnished with great elegance and charm. The ceiling was painted by Nikolaus Gottfried Stuber with grotesques on the theme of hunting. Hunting trophies – together with chinoiseries – are also the subject of the seven small tapestries from the Second Munich Tapestry Manufactory that are applied to the silk wall hangings.
The valuable console table from Paris, which Elector Karl Albrecht acquired in 1728 in Paris, the fire screen and the tabourets with rococo tapestry covers added by Max III Joseph, are all part of the room's original furniture and were only reassembled in their proper location a few years ago.
