The wall hangings from the time of Max Emanuel are a continuation of the series of tapestries in the Antechamber (Room 6).
The ceiling fresco – like all the others in Max Emanuel's apartment – was painted by the important Venetian fresco artist Jacopo Amigoni, and depicts the mythological scene of "Achilles amongst the daughters of Lycomedes" that was particularly popular in the baroque era.
