How to get there by car or coach

The municipality of Oberschleißheim is located in the north of Munich and can be reached via the motorways A 92 (exit "Oberschleißheim") and A 99 (exit "Neuherberg") and also via the roads B 13 and B 471.

From 24 April 2019: Diversion due to new bridge construction

Due to the renewal of a bridge, the state road 2053 between the B 471 and the A 99 (Neuherberg junction) has to be completely closed from Wednesday, 24 April. The work is expected to last until the end of October 2019.
Please use the signposted diversion via the B 13.

In front of the New Palace there are about 120 parking spaces for cars (with costs). Coaches may also be parked here.

For information on intercity bus lines and further means of travel please have a look on the Internet.

From Munich take the S-Bahn (suburban railway) number 1 (direction "Freising / Flughafen") to "Oberschleißheim".

From there it's about 15 minutes walk to the Schleißheim palaces; you can also take bus number 292 or 295 to the stop "Schloss".
